The only positive is the next time we play at home we'll be officially known as Cork City Football Club 1984Clap

Don't know about that. Apparently there were issues with Derry having 1928 on the badge as 'technically' we're a new club. Different circumstances I know but i'd watch out for that one!

We purchased the history and name of our club, so i shouldnt think itll be a problem.

Next season we'll be an old and proper football club againClap

Feckin hell what a game. Although ye threw the kitchen sink at us I though we had done just enough to hold on for the draw.

Unlucky on Slinger for letting the 1st equaliser skid under him, but he made some top saves afterwards though.

Unbelievable game in the RSC. I have never heard a roar like it when Kev Murray got the winner with the last kick of the game. What a confidence boosting win going into a huge game v shels next Saturday!

Half time in Terryland park 1-1. Mons undeservedly went behind although Mervue are playing with some urgency. Mons well on top and have had numerous chances but only tested the keeper on a few occasions. It's damn cold by the way. Sham157 live from Terryland Park. Cmon the Mons

Mervue 2-1 up from what can only be described as a calamity from Aiden Grimes. Free out 35 yds from out own goal an he kicks it to Gaffney of Mervue who races on the moms goal and cooly slots it past Sava. First time in the second half they seen our goal

5 mins to go. If the result stays the same , next week mons will have to beat us by about 4, waterford would have to win by 4 or 5. Come on Mervue, hold on!

If results stay as is, ye win the league , unless the table on Aertel is wrong (which it could well be )

Picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.....

Sick Sick Sick Sick Sick Sick
cant believe this
The Mervue curse strikes on us again... (lost at home to them last year and dre away earlier this year)...

unfortunelty my fears are coming to realisation. small squad that cooke used, using same 15 players all the time and huge amount of games have caught up with us...
thats 2 wins a draw with 4 defeats from the last 7 matches...

we now are clinging to a play off position. looking at the table a draw next week against Derry would guarentee a play off position... a result that would probably suit both the sides next week..

You'll never beat the Irish

Point and Goal Differences:

Derry       Points 66 GD + 40
Waterford          63     + 31
Monaghan           62     + 31
Shels              61     + 27

2 from 3 next week, home advantages up for grabs as well. Nervous few days ahead....
