This new ownership is some farce, I honestly could've give a f**k about this season. Hopefully things change, I've the season ticket anyway.

Nothing beats the new season optimism LOL

I'm usually the most optimistic person going too LOL

Plenty of goals for the away teams last night. I'm happy with Waterford's win over Athlone although it was expected. Result of the night has to be Cork's 6 0 win in Bray. Nvidic was right to be pessimistic. Treaty also had a big win in Wexford.

Hard to know what happened for Brennan to leave. The new owner means well but I think he's fairly naive about the whole thing. Told us in a meet and greet type thing that he's involved with football, still plays it himself every Friday night, said about everything you needed to know.

He sounds like the type of fella to turn up with shin pads on for a game of astro.

Some amount of goals scored on the first night.

Waterford bound tomorrow. Fearing the worst, but hopefully Knight and Clifford back can make a difference.

Years since I was in the RSC, Eire32 was hammered and tried to do a lap of the track, ended up in the long jump pit LOL

Waterford don't look like they won't drop too many points this season. Hoping there's at least a good atmosphere in it for you after making the spin down.

Was raging that Galway we're the only made to wait until this week to start their season but given the postponed games last week we aren't the only ones.

Huge game for Galway in Cork too. Would take a point after seeing the results last week.

Watched the LoI show earlier and I don't think I've seen a team defend as badly as Bray did against Cork.

Honorable mention goes to Athlone who just seemed to be lacking effort, where as Bray were just all over the place.

Brilliant chip by McGlade for his 2nd goal.

LOI TV HB, you can watch it on demand. They had the 1st division highlights on before the highlights of the Shels Pats game.

Not great again from Bray last night. At the same time, was only a defensive howler thay seperated them.

Good crowd on the RSC, seems a real buzz across the league this season.

Big win for Wexford last night, they’ve an interesting squad, will definitely cause a few upsets along the season.
