Have to say I have no idea why this film is so popular.  Am bored senseless watching it. Another 1hr 10mins left too and unless it picks up I am switching it off.

Tarantino is an overrated eejit. I kind of liked Pulp Fiction but a lot of his stuff is infantile, gratuitously gory and unfunny. Kill Bill 1 and 2 were probably the worst things I've ever had to sit through (not sure how I ended up at the 2nd, but an enjoyable enough cinema nap nonetheless).

Django Unchained and Inglorious Basterds are pretty good imo. Definitely both have elements of infantility and gore but as you say, wouldn't a Tarantino film without it LOL
2 film's I've yet to watch but keep meaning too.

Just a random one on Tarantino. He has a foot fetish, every one of his films has a close up of a women's foot getting rubbed or kissed

Seriously, this is the kind of sh*t that Hollywood is making the last 15-20 years.   Absolute tripe.

Somewhere in some Hollywood office now is some executives dreaming up ideas for the latest pigspunk such as 'Pacman The Movie' or 'Saved by the Bell -The Next Generation'

Why would you watch it? Like what in gods name could appeal to a 40 year old to watch a Barbie movie? It's like a Vegan watching zombie cow films
It would damage this forums' reputation

I didn't see it squire.   Hollywood comes out crap ideas for films.  They cant even be bothered coming out with new good stuff and keep rehashing old films remaking them or scraping the bottom of the barrel with crap like Barbie or Sonic the Hedgehog or 'Batman & Superman who join forces to beat Jaws 2024.  The fish is back and wants revenge after his grandfather shark was murdered by Chief Brodie in 1976.   And the sad fact is this would generate millions in the box office.

Genuine question, what type/genre movie would you create? What subject or topic has not been covered already? What far fetched idea hasnt been touched on?

Not my cup of tea but it has surpassed over 1 billion now in the box office, double what Oppenheimer has made, so whoever made it knew what they were doing. Seems to get good reviews too.

Each to their own and all that.

Is the Barbie movie not meant to be a satire? On that basis I'll watch it when it's available to stream.

There's a Rhino Loose in the City.

By day it terrorises the city. At night it hides out in a lock up.
