If any of you have little ones, do whatever you can to avoid having to sit through 'The Emoji Movie' at the cinema (or anywhere else). What a crock of crap.

4/5 Enjoyable movie, no substance whatsoever to the storyline but a very enjoyable 2 hours. Dark humour, some very funny scenes.

Great to have the reviews back Quey.
I went to watch 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" over the weekend. There was a question and answer session before it with Liz Bonnin that was sh*te, but the documentary itself was pretty powerful and inspiring. You can't but admire Gore, a charming politician who is trying to do something he really believes in. 8/10 'England is Mine', a biopic of Morrissey before The Smiths that could well have been done by ITV. Had absolutely no substance at all and, despite being about one of the most influential musical personalities of all time, had a sh*te soundtrack. Not worth bothering with really. 3/10 The Birdcage; I had seen the wonderful 'La Cage Aux Folles' but not this American adaptation which is excellent in its own right. A wonderful cast takes on this wonderful farce, with Hank Azaria, better known for his work on 'the Simpsons' standing out as the outrageously camp Guatemalan maid. 8/10 Man Up; A decent rom-com in which Simon Pegg plays a rather likeable romantic who has his date hijacked by an unlucky-in-love Lake Bell. Far too influenced by Richard Curtis' work in places, it is still very enjoyable, apart from the always annoying Sharon Horgan and her attempts to do an English accent. 6/10 Out of curiosity, does anyone on here use MUBI?

Joe Don Baker is one bad mutha f**kin sheriff out to rid the scum off the streets of his home town. He throws away the rule book and sets out to serve justice with his beloved 2x4 and dishes out some vigilante style brand of justice. 4/5 |

The Rock is the balls but no Joe Don Baker. This remake is watchable but as a vigilante flick it isn't nasty enough. 3/5 |

Due to the serious hammering this took, I was expecting it to be wank. Nothing side-splittingly funny but a good few chuckles and a treble twitch off Hadera, Chopra, Rohrbach and Daddario. The cameos from The Hoff and Pamela Anderson worked well, too (especially the former). 3/5 |

I was a fan of the first film but this was a really underwhelming sequel. Ross Rhea felt like he was just written in for the sake of it. A lot of the gags fall flat and at times scrape the bottom of the barrel. The characters all returned but due to a sh*t script, they have nothing to work with. 2/5 |

A poor psychological thriller that fails to generate any tension or suspense. 2/5 |

This nicks gags from Very Bad Things, Bridesmaids, The Hangover and Weekend at Bernies but doesn't offer up anything to warrant its existence. There are one or two laughs and the trucker is the balls but that a side it is a well below par comedy. 2/5 |

A childhood favourite. The Allies comeback is one of the greatest ever performances in the history of the game but not a patch on the Drogs/Galway relegation play offs of 2003 or the Wexford Youths Play offs of 2016. Pele plays the best football of his career. Ardiles does some serious showboating. Max von Sydow is the balls as the football loving Nazi Major. One major question after viewing, what the f**k was Kevin O' Callaghan doing in a German POW camp? Ireland was neutral during WW2. Furthermore, he was a winger and not a goal keeper. 4/5 |

I was seriously tempted to take the flonk out in the theatre and slap the stomach off myself watching this. Theron, butter my ass. Unreal. Togs creamed. It's stylish and with an excellent soundtrack (Depeche Mode, Bowie, Queen, A Flock of Seagulls and George Michael) captures the 80's vibe the film is set in, it has dark humour and really Über violent. Theron is drop dead gorgeous as Lorraine Broughton and an excellent action hero that would hold her own up against Bryan Mills and John Wick. 4/5 |

Love this film. PM agree, considering Azaria was sharing screen time with the late great Robin Williams he steals every scene. |

Dont think enough people appreciate the brilliance of this film. Stereotypical in every sense but hilarious. Williams in top form and Hackman is as good as always. Nathan Lane played his part too. Feel good movie if you ask me.

Ryan Reynolds bodyguard is to get SLJ to the Hague to testify in a court-case. Hilarity is supposed to ensue, it doesn't. It's Reynolds doing Van Wilder, Deadpool and Jackson saying 'Motherf*cker' Not too many jokes, non that were funny anyway. 5/10

Rush is an eccentric French painter and Armie Hammer is a business man who is getting his picture painted. A painting session that was supposed to last an afternoon goes on for weeks, and it feels like this film also goes on and on. Rush is good but can't make it a decent film. 4/10
