Yeah it was ok. The characters all looking much older (and fatter) was hard to get passed too! I’m not fully satisfied. Would like another sequel, still a bit you could do with Jessie and Saul

Think they should just leave as it. The movie did nothing for me

"If they move ...... kill 'em !" Agreed great western. High Noon with the legend that is Gary Cooper is my No. 1 Western. John Wayne hated both films.

I'd have to go with Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven as my favourite. In more recent years, Bone Tomahawk and Brimstone are both well worth a look. |

High Noon is the only Western I enjoyed, Cooper was brilliant in it. I don’t see the appeal otherwise. I am still mystified that Clint had a career in anything, never mind acting! Push the second and third letters together and his name becomes more accurate too.

He plays himself, badly, in every film! He really is a **** too. One of the biggest ****s in Hollywood and he has some great competition there.

Features possiblt the goriest kill scene of all time too. Brimstone was very good. Guy Pearce's character was demented.

Yeah, the last 20 minutes or so of Bone Tomahawk are grim. Cracking movie though. Guy Pearce is just a horrible bastard in Brimstone. He plays the role very well in fairness. |

Saw High Noon recently and enjoyed it, even if I didn't think there was much obvious chemistry between Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly. I liked the twist, I have to say. I watched The Searchers last night and don't see what the fuss was about. It was a decent movie, nothing more. It was faintly racist without actually coming around to show the Comanches as human at all. It tried a little but I think it missed and I think a fair amount of the acting was close to hammy. I know that was the style but I still didn't think it was a brilliant movie. I also saw The Man who shot Liberty Valance recently and that was far more enjoyable. It might have been a little long and the twist foreseeable but it was a good show. I also watched The Ox Bow Incident recently. Unsurprisingly, I enjoyed it for what it was and for the central message it had.
