Cheers, I'm quite proud of that snap. Was my work laptop's background for ages.
Posted it on twitter, and someone sent it on to Andy's partner, she liked it!

Only heard this. Best of luck to him.
I always enjoyed watching him play.
Mad to think he's the same age as Hoolahan. (he's actually 2 months younger than Wes!)

I thought he was going to play in Qatar but I misheard. He's going to play his guitar.

Another of Irelands 'what could have been' players, such a shame he was so injury prone throughout his career. Fantastic player. A slightly heavier Hoolahan.

Wish him all the best.

Is he still coaching at Forest? I know he took up duties the end of last season.

heard this story about him which backs up a lot of what Ive heard before

He went down to London with his buddy Ged and four other second generation Irish folk from Nottingham for a Damien Dempsey gig. He complained about a couple of them singing rebels songs on the way down and he walked out of the Damien Dempsey gig early saying it was sh*t and got the hump when the rest wouldnt follow him out.

Agreed. At least he had an opportunity to prolong his career to an extent in the Green.

Between 2008-2010 he has an excellent player, and Sunderland had a livewire with him. Injuries and absences for Stephen Reid, Stephen Ireland and Andy Reid was one of the biggest regrets I would have about the past 10 years.

Two memories that stick out from Reidy in his time at Sunderland was when coming on as a sub making  his debut v Wigan at home assisted Daryl Murphy was an excellent cross field pass which the Murph scored a 25 year screamer from.

The second would be deep into injury time he scored a volley v WHU to give Sunderland a winner at the SOL.
