Not remembering/knowing what you did can increase the fear 10 fold Andy.

Chances are whatever happened is nowhere near as bad as your head is making out now.

I have dreaded plenty of Monday mornings in work over the years fearing what happened the previous Friday. Its only when you sre in work you realise most of your colleagues are in the same boat!

Met you, you were fine. Good luck with the operation and going on the wagon.

Cheers lads. On the mend. Should get out tomorrow. Ducked the tendons up though so even worse than the bone injury. So it will be a long recovery in both sense, physically and from the gargle!

Really need to cut down on gargle myself, when I go into these phases I tend to grab a litre or 2 of Vodka and just sit there until 8am.
Moving out has been very counter-productive in that. Ermm

Then I get moaned at for being late/turning up hungover then it's a rinse & repeat. A vicious circle.

Excellent book. Sorted me with my panic attacks in my 20's. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Was saddened to hear she passed away unexpectedly a year or 2 ago.

LB, this is out of left-field but have you ever thought about acting classes? I'm serious. It would be hard to break thru the fear initially but could give you a real boost to shatter that fear that seems to grip you at times. Believe it or not there was time I was a little shy in front of large groups of strangers, got involved in music and gigging and it really helped.
Hypnotherapy if with someone authentic can help too. Thought it was mumbo jumbo meself and took just the one class and it certainly gave an initial boost. Meditation & Tai-Chi might help to arrest racing thoughts aswell. Don't let your mind dwell too much, I find that key. Even talking sh*te on here helps. Look after yourself Thumbs Up

Lions? I would be anxious too.

On a serious note, mind's website has some tips I have used and found helpful. I have even tried ten minutes every morning telling myself I am capable. When all that fails diazepam and ten pints.
