Lions? I would be anxious too.

On a serious note, mind's website has some tips I have used and found helpful. I have even tried ten minutes every morning telling myself I am capable. When all that fails diazepam and ten pints.

Don't train Lions no this is more my line of work

Shall look into that website, have been taking counselling too to help, I know I just have to face my fears head on if i'm to get over them

Fair play to you lads. Talking is always good. Never suffered from this myself but on the other hand the minute I start to feel sad or worried I will just go to someone and cry for a while and get it all out Tongue So always talk about the way you're feeling. It works Thumbs Up

Being struggling for a long time over a year, every single day was the same, feeling crappie feeling, worried and fear of a few things witch i might get into at a later date.

Had a few very bad nights during the week and managed to get myself to the doctor.
Was told I've anaxity.
since i went to the doctor and told a small number of friends i can honestly see the road ahead a lot brighter than it was this time last week.

Fair play Eire, look into trying 'mindfulness '. Quite basic and sometimes a bit 'out there'(certainly would have been for a younger me) but it really works.

Having the balls to talk about it takes huge courage.

Keep on top of it (try keep the drinking to a minimum)

Was hoping I could bump my post from last year saying all is OK again, but I'd be lying having a fairly bad time again, got put on Meds but very nervous to take them, looking down the counseling/ therapy route but the quickest appointment is 2-3 weeks. Would anyone happen to know or recommend any private clinics?(will travel anywhere)

What do you work at? Maybe a change of career could help. It worked for a friend of mine who suffered big time.

You could surely get somewhere quicker than 2 or 3 weeks? Anxiety is a killer, I suffer myself. I can control it most of the time but have some very bad weeks too.

Anyone ever get a soreness/tightness in their chest feeling? Has been happening me over the past month or so. Went to the doctor and she said it was nothing obvious, took an ECG and it was grand, and thought it might be a muscle injury from the gym. I am pretty sure it wasn't as I know my own body and don't recall the feeling that I pulled a muscle.

I get it mainly at night in bed. One night I had to get up and take paracetamol, it spread to my arm a bit that night which was the worst. It was a dull/throbbing pain that came and went. Then after that I didn't get it for another week or so.

I reckon its stress related. Its on the right side of my chest mainly
