You can fly Shannon to Paris with Ryanair, flying out early Wednesday morning, back Friday evening for 110 euros now. not bad.

check out the skscanners map, luxemborg or Frankfurt even Cologne Strasborg would probably have good links. Continental trains make British and Irish railways look like Stevenson Rocket

was researching there with few mates (were students) to get cheapest possible transport. think its costing us all about 50 quid each. Were flying belfast to stanstead/derry to luton from ryan air which are dirt cheap and renting a car driving to dover and getting the ferry return (there doing a deal for 25 each way for car and up to 9 passengers) and drive to paris. living it rough though as were not getting accomodation altogether for all of us ends up 200 quid

Another cheap and reasonably comfortable way to go to Paris, is lie down on one of Aido's Flags (there are now several dozen, including the new Dallas JR Special) you will then be gently rolled and folded and placed into his Tardis Bag......apparently there is loads of room in there....it has a bar, snooker room (two full size tables) and a VIP Room where Aido's ladies are very attentive.

lads, if anyone is interested in driving, its e80 pp for 4 people in a car dublin to holyhead, about 450 miles from there to paris, either getting chunnel train or ferry from dover. we did the maths, e150 rtn mon night to friday afternoon, camping in bois du bologne. Call us crazy, call us stupid, but dont call us the f**king england b team is my thinking.
