Saw this over Christmas, best movie I've seen in a long, long time. It's essentially a Poirot movie, rich guy gets killed, all his family are suspects, quirky detective (Daniel Craig) gets drafted in to assist the police. Some very funny characters, good story with lots of twists, definitely worth 2 hours of your time.

Just been to see The Gentlemen - A return to form for Guy Richie.
Hugh Grant was excellent in it.

Yes it exceeded expectations for me after the last one left me feeling that disney ruined star wars. I wouldn't say I am satisfied with what they did with VI, VII and IX but they definitely redeemed themselves a little. Storyline wise anyway, I thought it was really good. But it did feel very rushed with a lot of gaps that they just expect the audience to fill themselves in. Some stupid parts as well where you thought "what was the point in that". 7/10 movie

Rush - The rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. The playboy vs the obsessed pro. Racing sequences are top drawer. With this and Senna it just shows you how utter pish F1 is these days. 7.5/10
Sully - More to this than just landing the plane in the Hudson. The commission were a shower of ****s. As usual, Hanks was excellent in the lead role 7/10 The Equalizer - Same mould as Taken and John Wick but better. Denzil is the f**king man. Full of cliches but very enjoyable action flick. 8/10

Watched this last night and though it was very good. Phoenix played the part brilliant. He must have lost some amount of weight for the role. |

Pure mental alright. Threw it on last night knowing literally nothing about it - definitely one of those things that the less you know about it beforehand the better.

For a war movie which features zero battles, it's very good. The tension and camera work in it are excellent.

The Gentleman - 8/10
Starts off slow then gets going. The classic (Guy Ritchie) British gangster movie, plenty of twists along the way with fine acting from Hugh Grant and Matthew Mc. Colin Farrell stole the show though. Every scene he was in was hilarious. Wouldnt be surprised if he gets his own spin off on the back of it. Great entertainment
