I suspect another hard luck story for the scots in the final game and it will be a draw and both teams will be out. May suit England to come second but they will probably beat the Czechs but I think the French or the Portuguese would beat them.

As I said a few times Southgate's a bluffer. If the Czechs were smart they'd let England win to top this group. Then it'll be an early exit to one of the group of death teams in the last 16.

The likes of Rice and Philips would have never got a look in to England teams of the past. Wouldn't even have been considered but now they are the main midfield. Hardly going to make any team shake in their boots.

They haven't a hope against France with the way Southgate has them set up. Edited by colemanY2K - 18 Jun 2021 at 10:30pm |

If he had the balls he would drop one of them for Grealish in the last game and mount in deeper and foden where mount is playing and Grealish where Foden is playing.

I haven't seen much from Foden. Rashford will feel he should be getting some gametime. Typical England. All talk. Sterling has been poor too. All he does is go down or look for penos when hes in the box.

Rashford was Villarreals best player in the Europa League final and stunk the place out for United for weeks prior to that.
He should be in exactly the same position as Sterling - nowhere near that team. It's all Southgates favourites and it's all anti risk. It was very obvious he would hold them back in this tournament and he has.

Scotland hadn't qualified for a tournament since 1998 - what about all the apathy the Scottish public have had in the past for those previous teams. |

Based on what I've seen of the top teams England have looked the poorest (missed the Spain game mind you).

Are England through or is there any way they can get knocked out after the Czech game?

McTominay is a better footballer than Rice.
