Does it that not defeat the purpose of international football? Players playing for their country?

The Rice situation is different, I am pointing towards the likes of Bamford, Redmond & Will Keane. Bamfords case in particular would be rather strange, a Tory up front for Ireland

What is there to say about this post which isn’t wrong

Even the last sentence is filled with hypocrisy as Jon Walters is one most known Tory supporters out there

Walters has changed his stance on this and has said he isn't a Tory.

Walters wanted to play for Ireland, Bamford would be hard pressed pointing us out on a map and I would be shocked if he could name more than two county’s.

I don't think we'll have to worry about Bamford's intelligence.

Bamford ended up with five A*s, three As and two Bs at the GCSE. He did A-Level French, History, Biology and General Studies and attained three grades at B and another at C.[6] Bamford was offered a place at Harvard University, but he rejected the offer to continue his football career.

Bamford played underage for us.

Dave O'Leary reared in Glasnevin, was responsible for one of the greatest moments in our history and he was a tory. Fooking ridiculous comment.

Good enough grades to name at least 2 counties anyway. Big smile

What has any of that got to do with pointing us out on a map or naming more than two county’s? Patrick may be many things but he’s not Irish

This thread is reaching new levels every day, RKeane now arguing that Bamford, a clearly intellegent lad, couldn't point Ireland out on a map, brilliant.

It is obviously a figure of speech and not to be taking literally, Bamford is as Irish as David Cameron is, if fans have no problem with that each to their own, personally I feel if you fail to get a cap for your country you should not be able to represent another

Confused What an utterly bizarre thing to say.

Personally I feel if you try to get a job and fail at the interview stage then you should just sign up and collect the dole for life.

Mr Cameron’s great-great-great-great-great grandmother Dorothea Jordan

he's 6 generations out there
