I would have preferred him playing in the Championship, but if Lennon utilises his services that is a good thing. I hope it goes very well for him.

He developed in a worse league, he is 26 now and needs to be playing regularly.

I can see this working out very well. It’s a great move for him. He should play when fit and I think he will do damage in the SPL. He is a realistic option out wide for Ireland but he needs to be playing regularly

Honeslty, if he’s playing every week, it will be a good move for him. There’s plenty of reasonably good Irish lads in the SPL this season, so you’d expect O’Neill or Keane to get up there quite a lot

He wasn't really playing any competitive games for us anyway though. McClean, Brady & O'Dowda are our first choice wingers, Horgan is battling it out with a 31 yr old Jonny Hayes who isn't a Celtic regular, McGeady who is playing in L1 and maybe the likes of Pilkington (think he is still clubless) for a place on the bench. He has a better chance of doing that playing for Hibs than not playing for Preston.

Great move imo, the hibees are great but in all seriousness he will get plenty of football which is what he needs we can see what he is made off as a genuine prospect
