Liverpool still 7/1 to win the CL outright on bet365. I really hope everyone on ybig has a right cut off this as in less than 3 months you will make a 700 percent profit on whatever you stake. Nice return instead of leaving that 10/50/1000 euros in a bank account earning interest of 0.0000000001 percent in that time.

On the match next week, Liverpool at close to even money to qualify against Atletico is basically printing money. If you match your bets on that and the outright, you will have your money back in your pocket on Wednesday night, with a 7/1 docket worth a lot of money essentially running as a free bet then.

On the Atletico game, their away form is awful this season.
In La Liga - Played 13, 3 wins, 7 draws, 3 losses, only scored 11, conceded 12.
Champions League - Played 3, won 1, lost 2, scored 2, lost 3.

It's one thing giving off about UEFA not protecting the cartel, which is what Agnelli's complaining about.

But it's when UEFA itself actually does so that we should complain. Or maybe you haven't heard about UEFA giving special dispensation to Manchester City to rearrange their home PL match without sanction against Arsenal next Wednesday, a CL night? (Other teams have been fined, or threatened with fines for doing the same previously, even in minor leagues like the Irish League).

EDIT: I must have got that wrong somehow, since I've just remembered that UEFA don't want M.City to win anything... LOL

Is it just City rearranging the game? Would it not be the Premier League calling the shots? Arsenal no say in the matter?
 
Sure they played West Ham a few weeks ago on a CL night, rearranged from storm Ciara. Same night Spurs were getting beat by Leipzig.
 
Fine them if you like, makes no difference to me or City i'm sure.

No, it is a UEFA requirement that top tier games not take place on a CL night. Which means eg English Championship games (or below) may take place, but not eg Welsh Premier or Irish League Premiership level.

In this case, City applied for and received a dispensation from UEFA to help alleviate fixture congestion

No difference to big clubs like M.City, but unaffordable for teams in the smaller leagues, who normally prefer to stage their midweek games on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

This could be the last game on for months and I am including the Premier League in that.  They might try and hold off cancelling games and hope that Liverpool win it in the next 2 weeks but don't think they will have the luxury of that.
