Unbelievable end to the game. Gnabry with the chance to finish the title race.

Still just 2 points. All to play for Clap
"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."

Good weather, early season enthusiasm, "name" opponents?

They eventually finished the season with an average of 21,144. Still impressive, but presumably reflects a mediocre season on the field (9th place)?

All of the above. First day of the new season. July. 60 would have taken several thousand fans.
They have been out of the running for promotion for some time so gates would drop.

Agreed . Community-based  club. And you get a walk thru the woods.
tough call to get above the big 2 Köln and Hamburg

I see Union Berlin are still in the playoff spot, basically guaranteed that much, and might yet win automatic promotion.

Also, the wheels are totally falling off at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Last day of the season Bundesliga 1 2 3 this weekend.

3BL
only relegation to regionaliga remains. 4 to drop. 2 deffo gone. Lotte (18th) very likely to go as well
Haching (45pts 13th) should be safe.
The fun is for the last place :
L_in_G's Braunschweig (44pts 14th) are at home to Cottbus (44pts 15th)
Jena (43pts 16th) are at home to 1860
Großaspach (42pts 17th) away at already relegated Fortuna Köln (19th)

2BL
Auto promotion is between Paderborn (2nd 57pts) away at Dresden and Union (3rd 56pts) away at Bochum. 3rd gets a playoff with Stuttgart.
Footnote : last season plus one, Paderbon were saved from regionalliga because the 1860 couldn't / wouldn't pay the licence for 3BL (and so Paderborn got out of jail)
At the bottom between Sandhausen (15th 37pts) away at Regensberg fighting with Ingolstadt (16th 35pts) away at Hedenheim for the playoff with Wehen from 3BL

In the top level
Bayern just need a draw at home to Eintracht to win the league. BvB must win away at Gladbach .
Intrigue is added as the 4th CL place is still up for grab between Gladbach (4th 55pts), Leverkusen away at Hertha (5th 55pts), Eintracht (6th 54pts) and rank outsider Wolfsburg (7th 52pts) home to Augsburg.
Wolfsburg are in danger of losing the final EL spot to Hoffenheim (7th 51pts) away at Mainz, and Bremen (8th 50pts) home to Leipzeig

The Konferenz (regular Saturday afternoon show) jumping between grounds is going to be nuts on Saturday afternoon.

Hoffenheim f**king up a two goal lead and are going to miss out on EL as a result. If they draw or lose now (2-2) then it's entirely their own fault (89' minute).

Ribery and Robben both came off the bench and both scored in their final ever Bayern game.

Whatever of Ribery, Robben was an absolutely f**king class player.

Hah, Hoffenheim totally f**ked it up. From 2-0 up to 4-2 down, they threw it away completely. They were safe in the Europa League and now they miss out completely.

Much better to have a proper club like Eintracht in it, anyway.

SD44
Hoffenheim self destruct badly and end up losing 4 2 . Including getting the benefit of a VAR decision when they were 2 1 up .
Many Frankfurt end up in EL
Frankfurt equalised but a mistake from their goalie within 3 mins killed it.
Bayern ended with 5
Wolsfburg scored 8
Leverkusen scored 5 away in Berlin
