I see Michael Conlan's entrance the other night is causing a bit of bother up North. Understandable enough I suppose but as entrances go it was brilliant

I loved how the unionists were enraged about the whole thing and in the next segment of the show were advocating a statue for Alex Higgins- a man who threatened to have Dennis Taylor shot by the UVF and smashed his girlfriends face in with a hairdryer and assaulted a 14 year old boy. Didn't hear that mouth George from the Shankill on then. Prick.
Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

There is literally the same callers that call in every day about every topic under the sun-George being one of them, alongside Thomas in North Belfast

In fairness, that's hardly comparing apples with apples.

If Carl Frampton walked into the ring to a UVF song then it would be comparable.

Think it was a bad choice by Mick - Plenty of other tunes he could have chosen from.

Conlan will never have the cross-community popularity that Frampton has, basically down to his overt displays of Irishness. Ah well, can't please them all!

Kildare's Dennis Hogan absolutely robbed in his title fight in Mexico. The scoring from the judges was outrageous. Hopefully he gets another title shot in his next fight, definitely deserves it.

Terence Crawford beat Khan with ease. Khan was lucky to survive the first round and seemed to be looking for a way out from the 3rd round on but was outclassed. Received a bad low blow in the 6th but didn't seem to want to take the 5 minutes and his corner withdrew him from the fight.

He’s blaming the ‘low blow’ as the reason he couldn’t fight on.
From the reports it looks like he was being battered.

I watched Hughie Fury v Chris Norrad on Channel 5 tonight.

The worst boxing match I have ever seen. I am not sure if I would even call it a boxing match.

It honestly looks like they went past the pub and offered someone €100 to step into the ring.

A waste of TV time and Fury has wasted his time by taking part.

Still reckon AJ would blow both away once they meet. If they meet.

Was it not just him saying it's likely to happen in 2020 rather than confirming a deal has been done?

Would love to see Joshua vs Wilder and then Fury facing the winner. Think Wilder beats Joshua because he can be hit a lot easier than Fury.

I just hope Fury gets to fight AJ before Wilder does. Fury will beat the 2 of them. AJ would struggle against Wilder.

AJ will keep fighting fat blokes in the meantime.
