Delighted for him. He badly needed to get off the mark.

Definitely. The way his career has gone so far, his confidence wouldn't exactly be high so it's good to get off the mark.

So there's still hope that he can score 10+ goals for Éire over the next decade.

It was interesting last night when he came on. He as making a good few runs outside the box down the channels and comparing to Ferguson was like
Chalk and cheese. Fergusons movement or sometimes lack of is a class above Egan. Ferguson is not afraid to stand still to find space Whereas I feel Idah could run from a good position to a bad one just to be moving. Very little sophistication to his play. Fergusons is already streets ahead of him in movement at ability to lose his man and find space.

On bench only today which is disappointing. Didn't know Norwich had signed Ashley Barnes

Not surprising with 8 Irish involved players involved (9 if you include Irish eligible Delap). Good to see Idah get off the mark though, hopefully he can stay fit this season and work his way into the starting XI.

If ever a lad needed to commence the season with a run of goals and games. Hopefully this goal is the start of the run. Best of luck Adam.

Delighted for Idah has taken a lot of unecessary stick when in reality he has been massively dogged by injuries.
He’s still only 22yo young for a striker of his type! Injury free season this year and a few goals would be a great platform to build on.

You'd of thought after scoring the winner last week that he'd of been worth more than 10 minutes in such an open ended game.

Agreed. Sargent and Barnes seem too alike as a strike force, would have thought Idah was the better partner for either

Omobamidele on now for last few minutes of normal time, Springett on from 68th minute. McNamara taken off late for Millwall.
