Yeah if you email the ticket office they are selling season tickets for the 2 reduced capacity games coming up. Just got sorted Friday.

I wonder when Kenny plans naming the squad for the September games. Will he wait until the first round of EPL fixtures or next week after the first round of Championship games?

He didn't name the last summer squad until roughly 10 days before but I'd expect him to name it a lot sooner than that for the 3 competitive games.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

i'd imagine somewhere around the 16th with the players and their clubs informed a few days beforehand.

More likely Mon 24th or sometime that week after the second round of Premier League and fourth round of Championship fixtures have taken place.

Yah something like that and I suppose it makes sense to wait and see how the players get through the club games rather than naming a 100 man squad like O'Neill used to.

I would guess that it'll be closer to the 16th than the 24th though.

Is it 26 in a final squad now or does it go back to the usual 23 man squads after the Euros?

Yeah, Monday the 23rd or Tuesday the 24th would be my guess.
Get as many games in the legs as possible and see who's fit, on form etc.

Our squad has no guaranteed members really so need as many games as possible to see who's where.

Stevens, O'Dowda, McClean and Brady must all be considered doubts due to a myriad of factors. Knight injured and Molumby in flux.

Horgan's surely made a case for inclusion and has started the season well at Wycombe. McGrath and Ogbene might force their way in if there are many more injuries.

Cullen surely has a spot in the 11 nailed down due to Knight's absence and a (likely) lack of game time for Molumby, Hourihane and Hendrick as things stand.

Embrace a bit of chopping and changing in the next 10 months again lack of quality aged 23 or older bar Cullen Robinson Manning Browne most of that being 1992 born or older. Easily could be a case where more then half of our PL and Championship players will be aged 18-22.

This is to actually be embraced as while Kenny does need to win a few games we are going through a bit of a mad cycle that will only get madder in the next year or two.

If Kilkenny continues to play for Bournemouth he goes into the senior squad by default next month. Real gap for some of the young midfielders to come into the fold for us.

Bazunu/Kelleher the two RBs, Cullen Robinson if fit Browne will be in the squad. Going to be dilemmas who gets into CB LB, midfielders and of course attackers.

On that note, Alan Browne recently got surgery on a hip problem that's plagued him for over a year. Which might explain why his performances last season for club and country didn't match his forays the season before.

He wasn't in the squad for the Carabao Cup game tonight so he's clearly been treated with kid gloves.

Hopefully he gets back into the swing of things over the next few weeks as we'll need him firing on all cylinders again with all the other absentees and players lacking match fitness.

Just a pity that Preston look like a busted flush ATM. Have a bad feeling they could get sucked into a relegation battle, which would be a pity from an Irish perspective seeing as they have Cunningham (remember him?), Rafferty, Browne and Maguire in their ranks.

Absolutely sick to the back teeth of this nonsense starting youngfellas barely getting a game in the championship or knocking about with the likes of Tranmere and Wycombe. We need a moratorium on picking anyone below the top division in England, or Scotland at all. Start encouraging these lads over to Europe for a decent game of football. Otherwise we'll go nowhere fast.

The likes of Cullen, Noss, Elbouzedi, Nolan, Finn, Toner and Johansson are (hopefully) the future, not some muppet that's too afraid of his own sh*te to take a chance at playing ball in a non-English speaking country like the rest of the planet.

What a load of b*llox! Be interested in seeing your team made up players who only play in the top league of that country.
