It doesn't end there. A lot of the recent hatred towards Roy Keane stems from a Whatsapp message from Stephen Ward detailing stuff he was told from somebody else during a training camp. Ward wasn't even there and doesn't have a clue what really happened. Everyone takes it as gospel as if Ward witnessed it with his own two eyes. And we know that lads in the 20-40 age range don't like to gossip about sh*te (maybe 15% of which is true and the rest embellished) on Whatsapp like old dears in a hair salon. We all do it.

Unless they were born in England or otherwise do not meet your national purity credentials - then you'll "judge" them based on whatever spurious reasoning you like  There's more evidence out there than for 99% of other footballers that Keane is not a decent person, and more pertinently, that his understanding of football from a managerial/analytical point of view is superficial in the extreme.

Forest have chosen not to use Arter in their 1st team, he has done nothing other than fulfil his contractual obligations and has went on loan/trained/played with the reserves as required. I'm not surprised you have a hard on for Keane given the bigoted comments he made towards Walters and Arter though, that stuff is right up your street

No, but one or two here might be seeing a solicitor if Roy Keane gets wind of some of the stuff written on this thread. Jon Walters, Alex Bruce and several others have commented on what happened at Blackburn. The tit for tat fabrication about Roy Keane here is made up out of whole cloth, not backed up by any sources, and is one of the worst things you can accuse a man of doing.

I think being a national Judas is pretty bad, and that never seems to bother him. Water off a duck’s back to a ‘tough guy’ like Royston.
