Have you been fishing all weekend waiting for me to come down the river Count?! The Irish Yahoo page recently personalised it to have a more Irish feel, unfortunately they took the feed from the herald's website. They just put up the most popular stories so if it's number 1 on their website, they won't update it on ours. The news stories underneath it are more up to date I believe. They are still working on it as it's relatively new and the Irish market is really small. I'll pass on your comments though. Thumbs%20Up

Bing have been in search for nearly five years and they are now only making inroads by buying out Yahoo's search, which should happen in the UK/Ireland early next year so I can't see how Yahoo are behind Bing.

Google is a massive brand and fair play to it but if you type in 'holiday in spain' or something like that across the 3 engines, the chances are the same advertisers are all showing up. It's just everyone believes the hype about Google, again, fair play to them I guess.

Yahoo is more than a search engine though, you can check your facebook, add your favourite pages like ybig.ie onto the yahoo homepage so you don't have to leave the site at all.
