Strangely enough, The Dutch have decided upon green as the colour for their new away jersey at the WorldCup!Confused Bit bizarre to say the least.
Nike is the main sponsor and is the same colour as those awfull football boots....Dutch fans are hating this one already.

Just seen a leaked picture here on tv, but it will look very similar to this:

Same green, but the official one will have different black trims etc. Not sure what to think of this one though....

Well, turns out the media here pulled an old joke on evryone!

When they said the new jersey would be green, there was outrage amongst the fans. They 'leaked' a picture of it in the flashy Nike colour scheme and everyone believed them. Turns out the jersey will indeed be green....but green as in environmentally friendly! LOL
It will in fact be made from recycled coke bottles!

I fell for it aswell...hook, line and sinker! LOL

Does that mean they will 'bottle' it again in the world cup finals?

No need for Vicks Vaporub on the jersey then.  Just take a sniff of a coke jersey and youll believe youre maradona.

Was talking to a lad who's in sports retail over the weekend.
Was saying all addidas shirts for the WC will be 45 euro.
But all Nike will be 62 euro.
I asked why the difference, because they're made from recycled glass, so they cost less to make, but are green, so they charge you more Wacko

I asked if there was a discount on the jersey if I brought in 100 bottles for recycling, apparently not.
