I predicted Spain would win it but after seeing all the teams playing I still have no idea.
Would like to see Croatia win it. For those worrying, England won’t win this. No chance - they won’t get through 3 knock-out games.

There's a soft World Cup there for some team.
Nobody has properly stood up yet and displayed the credentials to win it. At the moment, you'd say Croatia have been the most impressive team of the lot. Spain put in a great performance first time out, but didn't win that game. And they been unimpressive in the two following games, they're looking more vulnerable as time goes on. They'll probably have a "handy" route to the final on paper, but I wouldn't rule out Russia shocking them. Brazil are still there, but you wouldn't put the house on them to still be there after tonight. Argentina are still there, but look shapeless. France have not impressed. Colombia were magical against Poland, but could still fail to qualify. Belgium and England have been impressive but against poor teams. The jury is still out. We're 5/8s of the way to knowing the draw. At the moment, here's how it's likely to shape up. Top half: France v Argentina Uruguay v Portugal E1 Brazil? v Mexico G1 England? v H2 Colombia? -------- Bottom half: Spain v Russia Croatia v Denmark HI Japan? v G2 Belgium? Sweden v E2 Switzerland? |
