The Japanese going up the Clones hill with their sake and sushi, instead of tea and sandwiches, and the Colombians off their tits on coke in Creightons hotel beer garden.

Colombians don't actually consume much cocaine. Usage of whatever the fook is actually passed off as coke is much higher in Ireland.

They're more into their craft drugs then I take it?

Pointless even discussing it. A GB bid would be a good idea. You could have stadiums in Cardiff, Swansea, Edinburgh,Glasgow, London, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, and Sunderland. If necessary Leicester, Derby, Middlesbrough and Nottingham could jump into the process.

With the transport links, the training facilities, the retreats, the small stadiums for pre World Cup friendly matches, a club set up which would undoubtedly be interested in training matches, and an expectant public who would fill every seat in the tournament, it would be a no brainier.

We shouldn’t be involved. We are not ready for a joint bid, and neither is Norther Ireland.

As Gianni Infantino and old Sepp seem to hate each other I don't think this will be looked on as a good time for him to finally back England or 'the islands' as the continentals like to say.

Having us as part of any bid makes more sense than having the North IMO

Not involving either makes most sense. There are so many reasons why we shouldn't be involved.

I reckon there are good stadiums in most of our major cities/towns, with some of those cities having more than one potential stadium (or at least the potential to build one, which people seem to have conveniently forgot...)

I think people are being a bit ridiculous here, talking about needing 16  ready-made 50,000+ stadia when only two stadia being used in Russia hold over 50,000! As for hosting a World Cup match in a smallish town, like say, Kilkenny, I again see no issue. Do you think that every venue used in major Championships is located in a bustling metropolis? Is it f**k... People have a habit of naysaying when it comes to evaluating their own back yard, completely ignoring what the situation was in other countries that have held major championships.
We're decent enough..

Nah will never happen. So many other countries would be in much better position to host it. England could easily do it alone but it appears sharing the cost is a bit thing.  With thst said, an England/France world cup would probably be more viable.
