Fabio Capello taking 4 uncapped players and leaving out Andrei Arshavin and Roman Pavlyuchenko could be the difference in this group - If it turns out to be a poor one I think the Koreans could nick 2nd place

Not convinced by the Belgians. Yes wonderful individual players however I have nagging doubts about them.

Belgium to stroll the group. Whoever come out on top between Korea and Russia to finish second. I fancy the Russians to seal second spot.

The Belgium team have been talked up a lot and have a lot of talented players. They will be under a fair amount of pressure and - although many have played in underage tournaments - don't have world cup or euro experience. Algeria is their first game. The North African teams tend to be an awkward opponent as England found put last time out. I think Russia will be a better team than Belgium. South Korea have gone a little back of late so don't expect them to offer much.

If Belgium fail to qualify from the group I wouldn't be all that surprised.

Wasn't aware of that Embarrassed seemed to think he was a striker, remember he scored a load of goals one season for PSV a few years back, maybe that's why,so with Benteke out who are the other front men?

They walked their group. Scotland and Croatia are both better than Algeria and they had no problems against them. Solid in every department. Not being in previous tournaments be a problem. Plenty of players playing for top sides, two in the CL final next week, Kompany won the EPL, Hazard at Chelsea etc. All their squad regularly play against teams far superior to Algeria.

I knew very little of him when he was at PSV.Maybe he did play more through the middle for them.I've seen alot of him for Napoli this season and he's played on the wing, mainly on the left but on the right sometimes as well. He's in competition with Insigne,on the left, and Callejon,on the right,so he doesn't always start for them.

I think Lukaku and the lad Origi are the only out and out strikers they have in the squad.Know nothing about Origi to be honest.

What's with the strange scheduling?  I've only just noticed now that Russia will face South Korea in their opening game, but only after Brazil and Mexico play their second match?
