its actually a strange one as they skipped a group game there, the germans must have asked for it at this time for some reason ?
Did they have the games fixed before the draw? It's definitely a strange one. THe 8pm game will be the only one I'll get to see tonight - think I'll give it a skip. 5pm would have been better for Iran/Nigeria TV too.

Since Euro 2012 i have told all who would lsten Portugal are a massively underrated team and could go very far into this tournament. Last 2 comps they have been narrowly beaten by eventual champions. Germany IMO have missed the boat in terms of winning a tournamnet with this group and i think they will come 2nd to portugal i this group.

All teams in this group have reached the 1/4 finals at least once in the last 3 world cups.

Ronaldo on Facebook
"Today, when our epic finally begin, we will be more than 10 million. We are still passion, emotion, belief, determination, perseverance. We are spirit of victory. We hope. All together, holding hands and hearts together, with one voice. Because, in the words of the Pope Francisco, nobody WINS alone, neither on the field nor in life. Portugal Strength!"

I would let him ride me without lube.

To say let him would suggest that's he's interested Landon. Surely his mind is on the game, for today at least.

5pm ensures that the TV companies can sell advertising at "off peak" times, whereas they will have already sold teh adverts around 7/8/9pm which is more premium TV watchig times.

I imagine the Germany game was arranged specifically outside of the 8pm time, as was the England/italy game, and the Argentina game.

TV stations carry a lot of clout with FIFA, and the European viewers pay the most money for TV - hence the scheduling of "Big games" so far.

In regards to Portuguese and German TV audiences I'd imagine they'd have preferred the 8pm/9pm (Germany) over the 5pm/6pm (Germany) one. Ghana is only an hour behind us at the moment as they're on the UTC timezone so I'd imagine they'd prefer that 7pm/8pm slot for their highest tv figure viewership

The a 5pm kick off would have suited Iran better than Por-Ger. Nigerians are grand for whatever time the kick off is because the online scamming industry tend to set their own hours.
