Anyone else think the Maracana pitch is in a poor state? It appears a bit bumpy. Certainly not up to the standard for a world cup final.

Depends on goal difference. If Ecuador win 1-0, the swiss would go through if they get another (and win 3-0) but not if it stays 2-0. They both have 0 goal difference at the minute but Switzerland have scored 6 and conceded 6 so far, whereas Ecuador have scored 2 and conceded 2, so if they both score 1 more tonight (and no more), they'll both have +1GD but Switzerland will have far superior goals scored.
