Looking forward to tonight. Either....

(a) I've never heard of the Dutch defence because they are pants and will get spanked
(b) I'm falling for the Dunphy "Because I've never heard of them they must be crap" attitude and could be plesently surprised.

Also interested to see if RVP has been secretly faking injury all season in order to be in tip-top shape for this month.

Also, glamour ties in the group stage historically tend to be pants...

2010: Brazil 0-0 Portugal
2006: Argentina 0-0 Holland
2002: England 1-0 Argentina

Hopefully tonight is different.

Think that would be the worst thing to happen. Holland are going to sit back anyway, an early goal will give them more of a reason to. A Spanish goal will draw the Dutch out and hopefully make more a game of it.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Lawro is up there with any of them! And despite Peter Collins doing this for donkeys years, he still sounds like he is on work experience

Quite reserved line up for Spain. This may be the worst world cup game since Germany-Austria 82
