Spain have been written off by so many but they still have an amazing squad. 7s is still a tempting bet for them. They have a testing group but one that you would still expect them to win. The more I look at this Dutch squad, the less I fancy them.They really have such a weak defence and would be hugely surprised if Van Gaal doesn't fall out with someone, he isn't an ideal national boss for this reason. Plus it is hard to take anyone seriously, no matter what they have done in the game, if you appointment Patrick Kluivert to any position of importance. Chile to get through and would not be shocked if the Aussies pipped the Dutch too.

Severe lack of ajax players in the Dutch squad, what's the deal there. On paper the Dutch look weak but there have been times when they looked strong and failed to deliver. 96 been one time and 1990 also.

Spain and Chile for me, as people say Dutch defense is shockingly bad but I said that about them in 2010 and they got to final.

But still think Chile pace will be too much for them

van Gaal thought he was bigger than God (Cruijff) and lost.
Methinks his omission of players like Davey Klaassen hints that he bears a grudge against Ajax.
He's bringing 2 kids from Feijenoord instead.

Matias Fernandez out of the World Cup. Not a starter but would have been a good player for Chile to have in their squad.
