Loving it
10 men and they still keep going against a tough Swedish team. No other country in the world comes close when it comes to a winning mentality. The team that lost 5-1 at home to England still made the world cup final in 02. McKay will be creaming himself

Point still stands. They're experiencing different styles of football. We would be helped a lot more if we had lads playing in leagues beside England (and Scotland) IMO

Not to mention Celtic, Hull City etc. Our players were better than Sweden at EURO2016 and with the right management would be better right now. What a finale that was.

Sweden like the Swiss have more or less always been a better side than us. They qualify for tournaments a lot more than we ever did. They are consistently better than us.

watching ITVs coverage and Roy Keane says nothibg tactocal ever from what I hace seen of him. Going on about the German mentality which is correct but doesnt seem very good at dissecting the game tactically and telling the viewers what should or shouldnt have happened. Neville and Larsson talking tactical mistakes. Keane sl*gging off Boateng for owning 250 pairs of shoes.

Brilliant from Kroos who had a really poor game up to that point, Thomas Muller continued his form from the first game with another shocking performance.

650 pairs of shoes actually!
Boateng was awful as Keane Evra and Neville said. They played better when he was sent off. Edited by Double Maxim - 23 Jun 2018 at 9:23pm |

So if our players went and played in the lower reaches of Italian football and in the likes of Russia, Denmark, UAE etc it would help our national team? Over let's say playing against Man City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool? What sort of style do you think the likes of Werder Bremen, HSV, Toulouse etc all play? It certainly isn't swashbuckling that the whole of Europe are talking about anyway.

I'm glad the Germans won. Last time they got knocked out in the group stages was 1938 and they took it quite badly.
