Bus related terminology has been a cornerstone of football talk for generations. There's the one you refer to above and then you have the likes of parking the bus, missing the bus, open top bus parades, throwing missiles at the bus, the list goes on.

When culchies (generally from the lower leinster/munster region) use the word "fair" to describe something; "fair bad", "fair drunk", etc.
