Yeah. It's much better than the first. Should be on the RTE player.

Agreed. I actually thought S1 was pretty sh*te but it defo improved.

I finished “The Offer” last week. Reasonably entertaining true story retelling the making of The Godfather. I didn’t realise the extent of the mafias opposition to the book and the idea that it would be adapted into a movie. The first half of the season is good but it gets a bit boring and predictable thereafter. Worth a watch if you’ve nothing better on your list

Just finished it. A tortured genius. Wouldn’t want to spend a day inside his head, the poor lad. The mic’d up bit at the end with Trump reminded me of being on a receiving end of a drunk relative at a family do.

One thing though, looks like zero glamour in snooker. sh*tty, boring hotels in the middle of tournaments. You’d think they’d be lording it up when working.

Playing at the crucible looks totally grim alright.

It surprised me in how insecure and nervous he was about his own game. The mini breakdown he was having when Trump pulled a few frames back, I’m surprised he was able to pot another ball.

From watching him id always have thought he was cool as a cucumber

Been re watching older shows. Currently on The Wire having last watched it when it originally aired, it hasn't aged as well as other shows of the time like The Sopranos. Feels dated and a lot slower paced than I remember it being. Still good but one of the greatest shows of all time? Maybe at the time but not now.

Maxine on NetFlix - about Maxine Carr's role in the Soham murders. Decent watch - 3 episodes.

From the way it was portrayed in the show, no, or else she didn't want to believe that it was him.

Hooked on this man. They’re all a bunch of gimps and it’s very cheesy at times but so addictive.

Not had a chance to finish it as the whole family watch it together so hard to get us all in a room but yeah it's very well made in terms of the drama and ruthlessness of it!

A couple of Irish lads in it too.
