on the lookout for a show now. Is ‘The Shield’ worth investing the time in?

Dark was great. Hope you didn’t stick with the dubbed version.

Have literally just stuck on the new Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix. The auld san was top drawer as a nipper. Think it was on a Saturday eve with the aul boy with the captivating voice.

Stands by for Irwin to tell me his name

Yep watching it with subtitles.

You thinking of Robert Stack?

Dark is very good, but when I read the description on netflix about the first series I was not expecting it to go they way it has. Had I have know how it would go I probably wouldn't have watched it.

Excellent show, I'm halfway through season 2, so many twists and turns but jaysus it can be confusing trying to keep track of characters at times!

Have the last episode of season 3 to watch tonight. Love it but head is all over the shop trying to figure it out! Not holding my breath for things to be much clearer when it's finished. LOL

Was really struggling the first few episodes of the new season to figure out what was going on. Kept kicking myself I hadn’t rewatched the first 2 seasons again. But all came together in the end.

Defo a show I will look forwarding to rewatching from start to end in a few years . Probably my favourite new show that came out since breaking bad (well game of thrones until the last season was also up there).

Rewatched in full before season 3 dropped. Needed it. Still mind bending even with that. Incredible depth in it as a show, it's like a fcuking maze.

There’s a couple of recaps on YouTube that help. You can google an image of the dark family tree which really helps!

For me, it's up there with The Sopranos. I mean that in terms of the quality of the show, not the nature of it. The last two series in particular are exceptional.

Hard to believe the main guy in the Shield is the same guy from The Commish in the early 90s.

For what it’s worth, the shield is the absolute balls

That's the last episode I have watched, some twist and a class episode in fairness!

Watched Killed By My Debt there on BBC, a harrowing true story

First thing I’ve watched in ages, anyone else find themselves bored of TV or have watched most things they’re gonna watch at this stage of lockdown

I’m gonna hold you to this Lassie. I’ve about 4 episodes left and I haven’t a breeze what’s going on. Struggling through S3 so far. I’m going to need a scapegoat if this isn’t worth the investment and you’ve just nominated yourself

Yeah had a few nights on the couch recently and very bored of what's on TV. Watched the American Samoa documentary last night but really beginning to hit the bottom of the barrel

I've a few episodes left in season 2.

It's pretty mad, but I'm enjoying it.

Anybody watch 'Once upon a time in Iraq'. Documentary on the American invasion with contributions from civilians, reporters and soldiers inc the 'star' of the doc Nathan Sassaman a battalion leader based in the Sunni triangle. It shows the very quick slide into the abyss. Well put together with fly on the wall type footage. Sassaman is a very disturbed individual. Well worth a watch.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

For fans of shows like Making a Murderer, a 5 part doc mini-series called 'Outcry' is available on Sky Crime and it's very binge-worthy.

It's about a senior highschool student who is the star of the football team about to go off on football scholarship but gets charged and convicted of child molestation.

It's a little one sided (like making a murderer) but overall we really enjoyed it and got through it in two nights
