I finished the first series of 'Lillehammer' last night, it is excellent. Van Zandt has an incredible charm about him and the soundtrack is decent so far too.

I just noticed that BBC Four are showing 'this Life' again. Probably my favourite programme as a teenager, I hope it holds up! I remember it being 'Britpop' in a television show and with a soundtrack to match

Anyone watch the programme last week on the death at Michael Barrymore's house?

Something very fishy about that whole thing.

- Barrymore fled the scene after the cops were called
- Barrymore claims that there was definitely no sex that took place in his house that night
- A witness told a court that she saw Barrymore rubbing cocaine into the victims gums in his kitchen and that the victim was trying to resist
- Barrymore went on GMTV after the death claiming he had new evidence which was that a nurse had said there were no injuries on the man's body when he arrived in the hospital, despite coroners reports saying he had serious injuries conducive with being raped

Also some evidence that convenient went missing such as the implement for checking the temperature of the pool. One theory that that was inserted in to the guy's anus and could have caused some of those injuries.

Looking for something similar to line of duty and bodyguard any recommendations.  Just finished series one of Marcella and taking a break before series two which is not a good sign.

Yeah thought the same. Was hoping for like a Wicker Man ending. Very disappointing.

Happy Valley ClapClap

Luther is OK.

Safe good too, the British one, like The Stranger but much better.

Have tried a lot of British crime dramas but most are nowhere near as good as Line of Duty or Happy Valley.
