Have the current owners ever stayed up more than a season? And how many promotions have they been through?

Which is more enjoyable as a fan, promotion up and down or one promotion and staying up and just avoiding relegation mostly. Would say a Watford fan have had more fun following their team to say a Burnley fan?
It would damage this forums' reputation

Sure it's a nice retirement payoff when he's sacked in March

He said at the time retirement was the reason for leaving Palace. I guess its a habit a lot of these guys can't kick.

The squad has enough quality to stay up... Roy would be a good appointment.

Feel like the people picking the Watford manager should be sacked at this stage. They're clearly the ones not doing their jobs.

Paul Merson toning down the xenophobia with his thoughts on this appointment. Not as overt as his opinions on Marco Silva getting jobs in English football. Just implied this time.

Sounds they Rob Edwards is going to be the new Hornets manager.

Watford are in advanced talks with Rob Edwards to become the club’s head coach from next season, The Athletic can reveal.

Edwards, 39, is currently manager of Forest Green Rovers, who won League Two last week.

Fair play to Watford for listening to the fans although I don't know what they were thinking of arranging the game in the first place?
