Unfortunately Old Billy the reverse applies to Waterford-due to cyclical bleak periods we probably ended up providing Rovers with their three best players ever in Paddy Coad , Jim Beglin & Noel Hunt !

Nice to get the win in Drogheda Friday night and hopefully we get a nice draw for the QFs. Longford or UCD please

Back to league action Friday away to St Pats. Hopefully Dundalk beat Rovers on Tuesday night to keep the gap between us and them for 3rd place

Yeah, I was miles away from them, in the Patrons Stand, but they made a great noise all night. Clap

Well, almost all night. They were a bit quiet when we went 3-0 up. Wink

Going too the UCD cup game on Friday next, any decent pubs around the UCD bowl ???. Was never there before

Surly the Waterford crowd might outnumber the UCD fans next weekend

We badly need to win this and get to a cup semi final. A loss could be the start of a downward spiral

You will be very welcome at The UCD Bowl, for your first ever visit.
There a decent bar three minutes away
The UCD Clubhouse Bar it's also possible to order Pizzas there.
For delicatessen food The Student Centre next door has The Poolside Café which is open until 20:00.

LOL.

I remember the night of Dalymount's centenary when we beat boez, you brought out an XI of Boez legends at half time, and about 7 or 8 of them where lads who played about a season or so at boez before the left to seek glory in Milltown.

The way it is now 1 more win out of the final 4 games and we are guaranteed 4th place and if Cork City win Monday night in the cup replay than European football too

We face Bohs away Friday, Dundalk Home on the 12th, a potentially huge game away to Rovers on the 19th and finishing off home to Limerick on the 26th.

Could be a really huge game in Tallaght if boez are in the cup final at that stage.

4th place guaranteed and we now hope and pray Cork win on Monday night and were in Europe but we can still also capture 3rd but have a tough road (Dundalk (H), Rovers (A) and Limerick (H) ) to that but ya never knw

This time 3 years ago the club was in a bad state and now we're top 4 in the Premier division and may get European football

Shamrock Rovers are effectively a point clear with the superior goal difference, I don't see us winning the remaining 3 games. Even if Dundalk go on the piss for the week and we managed to beat them,  and Pats manage do us a favour in Inchicore at the same time, a win for Shamrock Rovers V Blues would take them back above us. Its all a bit fanciful, but having said that, Cork look a little bit vulnerable and it might come to it that we are relying on an unlikely sequence of league results like the above.

Picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.....
