Just over 3 weeks away so I assume O' Neill will name his squad later this week.

We're worse at home than we are away so I'm not sure how beneficial an away draw will be. I don't see us winning in Cardiff. I think it's 50/50 between a draw or a narrow Wales victory.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

So a 0% chance of Ireland winning then? Nice one.

does anyone really care what squad he names? No matter what is in there it’s the same aul sh*te on the pitch. I’ll be wearing a Welsh jersey in the away end in cardiff

There's always a chance but I don't see it as Wales will look to settle scores after the last game. If Bale wasn't playing I think we'd have a chance of beating them.

If Wales go out trying to settle scores and turn it into a fiery game, it will play directly into MON’s hands.

If they go out and try to play good football they’ll beat us.

Realistically they won’t gain much in a revenge sense if they beat us, and neither will we if we beat Denmark.

The World Cup has been and gone.

I was expecting it to be this week but it'll probably be next week.

Should we have a sweepstake on how many are named in the provisional squad? I will go with 67.

Read an article interviewing Stephen Ward today and it said it will be Monday week when the squad is announced. "Ward turns 33 next Monday, a week before Martin O'Neill names his squad for the September games away to Wales and Poland."

I think this match may only be shown on the new Virgin Sports channel, which is only available to Virgin TV subscribers.

In yesterday's new season launch for RTE they did not have it down in the list of sports rights they have (they only mentioned Euro 2020 qualifiers from March 2019). And during Wednesday's Europa League final TV3 were heavily trailing the upcoming launch of the Virgin Sports channel, boasting that they will have Champions League, Europa League and Nations League matches to show.

RTE have it alright. Virgin have the other games not involving Ireland
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn
