I ve watched the whole game for this must-win game and i will put on my ratings   from what ive seen

GIVEN 6  nothing to do in the goal., the polish player was very clever and shooted when he was coming alongside him.   was very composed for me.

COLEMAN  ONE  brillant Player going forward one as defender got exposed by them ,  silly fouls   5

OSHEA   superb game  7

WILSON looked nervous but he didnt do anything that bad  he couldnt do anything in that Brady mistake maybe he could have tried a foul  6

BRADY looked rusty but tried something else which is a problem for his position it is hard for attacking and flair players like him to play left back,  and got exposed  he made a mistake on that pass  sent WILSON agains  2 or 3 polish guys couldnt track back,  main responsable for that goal...LIKE COLEMAN he is one player going forward and one as defender   5

WALTERS   WORKED HARD he is injured but was always a dominant presence for them.....got fouled once and again 6

WHELAN  he tried something until the game was  0-0  but he is not a player to push forward a team when you are trailing 0-1  he didnt do anything wrong  but nothing to good  5

MC CARTHY  played a big part in the 2nd half and showed some guts the team is starving of his delivery and when he plays good the team improves   6

MC GEADY  it was showed he wasnt ready tried hard , but he is the one to provide some spark but when he is  FULLY FIT.... shouldnt have played  4

HOOLAHAN  was man marked and badly booked by the CROOK  ,   he tried and tried and tried something else, to split them.....   7

KEANE tried but that is not his fault,,,,IRELAND NEEDS HIM  as an impact sub from this even games,  maybe vs SCOTLAND he can have a better game,  he showed he is lacking  of game time.  4

MCCLEAN  showed  why he should be playing for a premier league team,... he is so good and determined  7

LONG  got in good areas and showed eagerness  AND SCORED 7

Given had one save to make and he didn't make it - I doubt the man himself would be kind enough to give him a 6! Wasn't terrible but there's no way he should be beaten from an angle like that.

Given-6 Didn't have any saves to make but his distribution is better than Forde's
Coleman-6.5 Did well going forward particularly in the second half, ok defensively but caught out once and gave away a foul
O'Shea-6 Solid enough, didn't do anything wrong.
Wilson-6 Similar to O'Shea, was left short by Brady for the goal and actually did well to get a tackle in, but was unlucky that Peszko was following in right behind him.
Brady-4 Given the run around defensively which wasn't really surprising, what was surprising was how poor he was in possession and with his set pieces.
McGeady-6 Flashes of his ability especially when he moved out right, ultimately his lack of game time told though.
Whelan and McCarthy-4 equally terrible, offered nothing and hid from responsibility, should both be dropped for the next game.
Walters-6.5 Worked tirelessly and held up the ball well at times, has a good touch, something he doesn't get any credit for.
Hoolahan-7 Constantly positive, at the heart of most everything good. Lost the ball a few times but only because he was brave and actually took people on. Won the ball off the opposition on more occasions that our supposedly "defensive midfielders" too....
Keane-5 Felt sorry for him, he chased absolutely everything but he's just not suited to playing up on his own, even in his prime it wasn't his best position, and at 34 it's certainly not going to work for him.
We're decent enough..
