By the way, Pat, on the subject of spam, would you like to buy my book. Its available from Destert Island Books and there are loads of them. In fact if you wanted a special order I am sure clive could accomidate. The book has not sold well and I really need people like you who are interested in soccer to buy it. In fact buy lots. Thanks |
I am not spamming this board. All I politely ask is would posters on this forum which has a clear interest in Irish football take the time to read the original post, and then look at the links I have provided to back up my argument.
How many people know that the Lisbon Treaty for the first time gives the EU a competence to legislate and regulate for Sport in the EU? Virtually nobody. That is why I am attempting to bring this matter to a wider audience.
Thank You.

Read the thing through and agreed it is of interest to Irish soccer but this is not the place to push it as we have enough on our hands trying to get a Hat to Dublin, gatting out the YBIG, selling T-Shirst and generally having a good time. In fact, Pat, why don't you hop on board the David Langan testimonial forum as we could sure use your support?

I think we should all vote yes to the Lisbon treaty..... Surely it would be nice to have better relations with the people from Portugal....although it is a bit unfair that its only a treaty with Lisbon.... what about the people of praia de rocha and other places in Portugal?
