Do any lads use voice notes or is this an exclusively female thing.

I dont think i have ever sent one or received one.

Voicemails have practically gone now a good few years as nobody listenes to them so strange to see voice notes a thing.

I know Stephen Ward uses them. Maybe its an age thing and only for under 40s.

Maybe it’s an age thing so. Work?  You are mad. Hope it doesn’t come back to bite you.

Depends on the scenario. A lot easier than typing out a detailed response.

Discovered this a few months back which I felt was odd at the time.  I use it a bit now, but not fully bought in yet .

I'd say I've done one a handful of times, e.g. when driving, but wouldn't be my choice of communication and find it irriating if in the company of someone and they are going back and forward with voice notes with someone

This. Absolutely hate them. And hate other people listening to them in public which I've heard a few times.

I'm have turned into a totally grumpy fcuker over the last couple of years tbf which probably doesn't help.

Oh yeah, and the likes of Dermot and Dave or other clowns on Today FM in particular asking listeners to send in their hilarious voice notes to save them or the producers any effort at all in 'creating content' really boils my p1ss and all.

I hate receiving multiple at a time. Sometimes I can get away with reading a sneaky message while in a call in work, no chance you can take the time to listen to a voice note.
