Just thought i'd start up a thread for any bored individual with plenty of time on their hands.

First piece of useless information is that there are 93 sweets in a tin/box of Celebrations. ( I had nothing better to do last night.

The breakdown is
Mars 17
Snickers 16
Bounty 16
Milkyway 14
Malteezers 12
Twix 6
Galaxy 6
Caramel 6.

Not great if you're a twix fan.

So post up you're useful or useless pieces of information.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Meath was the fifth Provence of ireland before the brits invaded and raped our land. So all northside dubs, Louth people, Longford, some of Cavan and westmeath folk are all meathmen.

Not from Louth, but the good part of Louth is (Drogheda was in Meath) and much of the southside still is. Couldnt care about the rest of the county.

This is exactly why  Northside teams should not be allowed into the Leinster Schools Cup Thumbs Down

Joan Garcia Pujol was possibly the only person awarded honours by *both* sides in the second world war. His codenames were Garbo (British) and Arabel (German).

Now, *that's* useless information.

I reckon the ratio is generally the same in every box - some chocolates must be cheaper to make than the others, so they lump in more of the chepaer ones. Roses are dirt cheap these days, but they've taken out the more expensive sweets to make (Turkish, Bournville etc).
