We need to thrash these out to get to the bottom of these issues:

Robbie Keane v Brian O'Driscoll (who was the best servant)

Trapattoni. Did he do a good job or not?

Stephen Ireland. A force for good or evil?

Roy Keane v Mick McCarthy (so who was right there?)

We cant move forward as a forum without discussing these vital issues.

Keane v O'Driscoll: Don't watch rugby but I'd say apples and oranges to this one, ones football, ones rugby so doesn't matter. One I will say is though is that Keane doesn't get the appreciation that he deserves.

Trap: Euro 2012 qualification and a world cup play-off in which the other team cheated. 2 good campaigns out of 3, regardless of the style of football he played. Good job imoThumbs Up

Stephen Ireland: No thanks.

Roy v McCarthy: You should never walk out on your country regardless of the situation.

Bod, im not sure the comparison is reflective of public debate though. 99% of the irish public wouldn't  consider the two in the same league.

Trapattoni did a good job for the first campaign. down hill from there though. left us in a worse state than when he took over.

stephen ireland,,, call him up

Keane v mccarthy, both were right and both were wrong, fai was to blame.

I dislike eggchasing but I have to hand it to the #13 here

Trapattoni. Did he do a good job or not?

He did what he was employed to do which was qualify us for a major tournament, in that repect he did a good job.

Stephen Ireland. A force for good or evil?

When playing for us a force of good. when not playing for us a force of evil

Roy Keane v Mick McCarthy (so who was right there?)

Both were... the perfect irony in life. Poor communication and management skills on both sides led to the civil war
