Every team has those players that supporters of other teams dislike. For example, Arsenal - Jack Wilshere. I'll start with;

Man United - Ander Herrera. Something very Mourinho about him. Sly f*cker.
Jimmy Bullard - "Favorite band? Elastic."

What about universally liked players? I would imagine that is a much shorter list these days!
you were probably told to leave an Irish centre one night but kept mouthing off and some big church going Gaa player f**ked you out the door hence your hatred for the Catholic Church and Gaa aswell!

Diego Costa is an obvious one.

Jan Vertonghen might be another.

Could never stand Mascherano and would have to admit himself, Herrara and Busquets are cut from the same cloth. They can give it but are moaning cxxts when they're on the receiving end of things.

But the thread says universally disliked.... not really about your own personal opinion.

Diouf is probably the winner.
That Leon Knight lad is a right toerag too and reckon that’s generally accepted.
Nile Ranger another knacker.

PhillyK

His performances for the fans team are nothing short of pathetic. However its the level of abuse he constantly recieves that leads me to select him. Id give Hoskins an honourable mention also.
