In the sense that a 'no-deal' would have been better, no. Definitely not. The tories have never been about the state, however, much less what might be best for the state over the private individual. That's kind of the point.

Some possible good news is that Sir Career Starmer is resigning and we may again have a Labour Party.

Where did this come from ? No sign of it on any of the news feeds I've looked up. I think Labour are doing okay though should have allowed a free vote on the Brexit deal, which is a poor one and will have the Tories on the rack for years to come when the outworkings become clear. The defection of Scotland from the UK, which I believe will happen, will be a huge problem for the party however.

Difficult to believe. Why should he?
And unless Corbyn were to regain the leadership — unlikely given his having the whip withdrawn — probably irrelevant. Who would take Keith's place? Another Blairite like Yvette Coope? Some nebulous Liberal like Angela Rayner? The real left has been long purged from the party. I used to think Labour could be a vehical for real change; it's now clear they're a large part of the problem.

I see Hazel Chu saying the far right are often starting rumours like this about her, would appear to be the same thing you've fallen for as absolutely nothing online to suggest this is true

The Starmer rumour has transpired to have been a scam originated on a Twitter account called ' Babble ' and spread by a fake tweet on an account falsely masquerading as that of Robert Peston of ITV.

Strange one! What would a Waterford under-21 hurling manager have to do with these brexit crackers?
