The whole thing is quite odd. The big question is the change of heart from Ecuador. I know ‘reasons’ have been given, but I think there are more genuine reasons. We need another Wikileaks about Assange!
It doesn’t say much for the Ecuadorian diet though, Terry Waite came out looking healthier!

George Galloway to back Farage’s Brexit Party in the upcoming elections according to Twitter.
I always find new ways and reasons to seriously dislike Galloway and his politics.

i find this hard to fathom. always loved him. galloway sharing a platform with ring wing brexiteers and campaigning for brexit is one thing but running for party - potentially the fastest growing right wing political group in uk history - is a complete other. getting him onboard is a masterstroke by farage. |

No, the tweet suggests he is going to support them on a one time only basis.
I’ve generally disliked him and I’ve always disliked his politics.

I would share his views on a lot of things, but I could never stand him. His shameless publicity hunting and his manner of speaking really rub me up the wrong way. He is a repulsive character. |

Funny, on a broad level I don’t always disagree with the thrust of what he says, but I almost always disagree with the rationale behind his policy.
The whole concept of ’Lexit’ is a prime example (although I disagree with Brexit entirely). But to conclude that supporting Farage’s party will speed up Brexit is ludicrous, considering these are EP election with little power, and only serve to boost the bona fides of a man who doesn’t deserve any. He’s almost better doing a Denis Skinner on it, and this is a step to far.

My bet is there's one thing that connects Farage and Galloway. It starts with an "R" and ends with an "A". And it's not what Declan Rice likes to tweet about.

Would you approve of this ?
Several years ago he openly admitted to having played the old Scottish Labour sectarian game at elections to stop the SNP. The latter is an old game used since the 1960s in Central Scotland that involves the following: (Step One) Deliberately lie to the voters of predominately Catholic districts that the Scottish nationalist movement wants "a Protestant's only Scottish state" and "the SNP want to send you back to Ireland". Big smiley photo with candidate at the local Hibs hall or Catholic social club. (Step Two) Deliberately lie to the voters of predominately Protestant districts that "the Catholics will just take over if you let the SNP in" and "there'll be no money for our hospitals or council housing but plenty for the Catholic schools". Big smiley photo with candidate at the local British Legion or Orange Lodge. Galloway (who claims to be a "devout" Catholic) said he had never had problem with any of his because "the end justified the means". Not to mention his furious loathing of anything to do with Scottish culture or heritage and his weird hatred of our beautiful Gàidhlig language. His campaign to retain the Bradford West seat in 2015 was disgusting. He orchestrated an utterly vile campaign against Naz Shah, the Labour candidate, alleging that she had lied about being forced into a marriage at 15 and that she had lied about subsequently being raped amongst other outrageous attacks. There are thousands of people across the world who have done far more for the Palestinian people, and without needing to get their name in the paper, than George Galloway ever thinks he has done. In fact the movement for a free and independent Palestine, a deeply right and just cause, is much better off not having him as an advocate. Amusingly, he is well known to have been a big Dundee United supporter in his youth but in 1987 suddenly became a "lifelong Celtic supporter" after winning the then safe Labour seat of Glasgow Kelvin. In 2011 he fought an absolutely pathetic, childish campaign to be elected to the Scottish Parliament by appealing to other Celtic fans to vote for him, purely because he's "one of them". Unsurprisingly, he came nowhere near being elected. For a self proclaimed "radical socialist" he sure loves his expensive sports cars, gold jewellery, tailor made suits and luxury apartments. I also see he's recently had a bit of the old plastic surgery done around his eyes and cheekbones. In short I wouldn't piss on the loathesome cretinous kunt known as George Galloway if he were on fire and begging for my help. |

Fiona Onasanya removed from Parliament via a recall petition.
The Peterborough seat was a tight swing when she won it so the by election could be interesting. Apparently Galloway has found a new constituency in which he intends to peddle his guff, and Farage also intends to stand a candidate there.

Always an interesting seat, like all the other big towns in East Anglia, it is the only hope for Labour. Outside of Peterborough, Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich, it is mainly Tory heartland. This is particularly true just outside Peterborough in the Fens, where there is no point in voting at all!
I think the fact that the Onasanya f**ked up so badly and that the constituency voted strongly to leave, means that there is a vacuum there. I can see why Farage and Galloway are interested. There has been a mixed reaction to heavy Eastern European immigration in the region too, which arrived here before anywhere else in the UK, since the war at least, due to fruit picking. I think nearby Wisbech has a population of six thousand Lithuanians in a small-minded Tory town of thirty thousand. There is plenty misplaced anger to be exploited!
