Love the lad, incredible talent, but hopefully he doesn't headline it. Despite it being in Ireland he's not worthy of a headline fight. Would much rather they put him as co-main and had a bigger fight as the main fight. McGregor's not even a Top 10 fighter in the UFC, there's no way a guy ranked that low should be headlining. He could be co-main and it wouldn't affect ticket sales in the slightest, we still get to see him fight, and would also get a better card.

This years show of the Ultimate Fighter has two Irish lads in it for the first time ever, although quite fortuitously. One got a bye into the house because his opponents kept getting injured and the second while he was losing his fight his opponent blew out his knee.

Cathal Pendred (whos name none of the yanks can pronounce) got the bye originally and won his first fight in the house putting him into the semi finals, and Chris Fields is the other fighter who's yet to fight in the house.

Should be interesting to see how they get on in the coming weeks.

Have been watching it since the start and while obviously hope they get on well, I can't see them winning it. Fields in particular looks the worst of both weight classes, definitely the easiest fight out there for any one in the light HW group. Pendred is very strong but looks a bit uncomfortable when it's not a grappling match. Both stand-up games look poor in comparison to the yanks on the show.

Tickets for UFC Dublin go on general sale on June 6th I think, McGregor headlining against Cole Miller.

Cole Miller has pulled out of the McGregor fight through injury.
McGregor will now fight Diego Brandao in Dublin.

Something very fishy about their ticketing process, few of my mates had presales codes for them yesterday and they couldnt get tickets and then today we were all on ticketmaster at 10am on the dot and there isnt a sniff of a ticket on the site, I reckon they must have sold out to VIP members or something. That way they'd make a fortune rather than just selling them for 50 quid a pop. Woolshed it is so!

First pre-sale tickets went on sale on Wednesday. I'd say a lot were snapped up then.
 
Then more yesterday including O2 presale so I wouldn't have thought there would've been many if any left for general sale.

Yeah, it'll be live on BT sports so you'll have to buy the setanta pack. Should be plenty of streams available though
