Hi everyone, just wanted to create this thread in anticipation of ticket application window next month. We won’t know the teams at that point but whoever is involved it will be exciting occasion for the city. 

As someone who was planning to go to the Euro games and was disappointed when they didn’t go ahead as planned, I have been looking forward to this for some time. It would be brilliant to get a ticket of course as a neutral but I imagine it will be very difficult, however I’m sure there will be a fan zone and other events to take part in which we will know about closer to the time. Best of luck to all applicants and I will be sure to post any future updates about the final on this thread.

Reckon this will be huge demand with Liverpool still in the competition.

Prices were in line wth group stages for Euros etc last year anyway, presume there's be a Dublin tax on these, last years prices were....

2011 was fun. It wasn’t a great game, but it was nice to see prime Falcao up top for Porto. The event could be great if it was between a team with a large Irish support and perhaps another big name.

I wonder what would happen if Rangers got to the final? Would pubs close and the city shut down for the day? Or two?? I see Rangers and Atalanta fans were thanking each other for the rumble in Lisbon the other night. Imagine having those neanderthals in Dublin for a game!

They were here in 84 but not in huge numbers....when Shels played them in Tranmere, was that on the back of a police request or did Shels call it themselves?

From recollection I think it was a police decision.

I hope the final doesn't include Liverpool, Rangers or Roma.

I think it's 95% likely that Liverpool will reach the final though. No Sevilla to stop the English this time either.

Rangers vs Liverpool would be cringe - Irish lads waving tri-colours shouting 'Scouse not English' no thanks.

Wouldn't mind Liverpool against anyone else mind, particularly if Kelleher was to get a game.

If its anyone but Liverpool you'll be able to get tickets on the day.

I got a ticket for the last one 2 hrs before kickoff for free from a uefa rep
