Think it has something to do with the famine. The Turks were apparently very generous in supplying food and other provisions, especially compared to certain other, closer, countries.

Anyone doing the CL/EL/ECL predictors on the official website? Can send a link if necessary.

Would be interesting to compare the results of our predictions.

Abramovich would have Tuchel sacked by now after this many defeats already this season

True, but I'm more than happy for Boehly to persist with him while he racks up a few more defeats. Thumbs Up

nuts - did he want rid of rudiger or was that the club 🤔 not willing to pay him what he wanted.

I don't think its that nuts

He spent a lot of money last season and it didn't go great for them, and spent around £250m this summer and had started the season poorly. Lost to Leeds, Southampton and Dinamo and blessed to beat West Ham at home on Saturday

Don't think he was responsible for any of that spend.

As a Chelsea fan it seems being under UK sanctions on their owner was a better bet than this new owner. Transfer strategy been all over the place this summer and looks clueless.

Their new 80m cb was ruthlessly exposed for the goal last night as well

That doesn't matter much
If you're given not far off half a billion worth of new signings in just over year, you're expected to make them work

They were Boehly's signings - It was pretty obvious from recent interviews with Tuchel that he wasn't happy with them.
