Dunphy (finally) highlighted this after the match last night, said Don Givens was corrupting our young players

In an ideal word he would have left the job 4 years ago and Stan could have cut his teeth there instead.

he is one of the big players in the fai and has alot of support, he is unsackable to be honest, he should do the decent thing and steo down.

he has had numerous run ins with players over the years, handled the s.ireland situation poor enough, i have seen a few u21 games and they play with fuuck all coaching or leadership, the man does nothing he sends them out and hopes for the best.

he will never be sacked he plays the fai game goes along with the suits and will be there untill he decides to leave

I seen an interview this week where he is basically disgusted that anyone would consider his position after the Armenia defeat and goes onto state how he’s done such a great job blah blah blah sh*te! His record out of 49 games is something like 13 wins, that is embarrassing.

Another U21 campaign, another embarrassment under this clown. We don’t have an incredible 21’s side I admit, but we have been under achieving at this level for years under this gimp. Another farcical situation at the FAI.

i'm sorry, but we all know he's doing a terrible job, but I wouldn't call one of Ireland's greatest strikers a "gimp". Yes, he should be removed, but still treated with respect. As should Stan, as it goes.

Agree totally that Givens has to go, I know that for small countries u21 grade is difficult because the best players will be in the senior set up but the way our u21 team is treated is crazy...obviously the fai dont care how we progress at this level and never really have..

Proper structure must be in place and a proper coach in charge maybe even some one who is involved with senior set up...maybe Tardelli... or someone with experiance of developping players...Heighway maybe...
What ever happened Joey Lapaira???
