El Clasico Minore last night at Athlone Town Stadium
Athlone Town 3-1 Longford Town Athlone should have scored 6 or 7, wasted a lot of decent chances. If they were playing a better team the misses would definately haunt them. Longford were poor enough side. |

The fixture was switched. This was a re-fixture of the opening round game that was cancelled. Updated table.

Salthill Devon v Galway United on Sunday at 2pm in Drom.
If it's half as good as the Galway v Mervue game on Wednesday night, it should be well worth a look. |

i'd like to state that even when the club were using the interim name early this season all youth teams from U17's - U20's were still playing as Cork City FC. So our U20's team cant be referred to as Cork City FORAS Co-op as none of the youth teams ever used that name. So Cork City FC are top of the group. There was never a team called Cork City FORAS Co-op playing youth football. Only the senior team used that name.

Galway United beat Mervue United 4-3 last night in Dangan.
Mervue went two goals up in the first half, but Galway pulled one back just before the break and went on to score three more before the visitors were able to muster a consolation at the death. Galway United now re-join Cork City FORAS Co-op at the top of the table, who beat Tralee Dynamos 6-2 on Sunday afternoon.
