Slight exaggeration there, Gaz.

Poch gave him his senior Spurs debut in an EFL Cup 3rd Round game at Colchester in September 2019. It was far from a full team (eg no Kane or Son), TP was taken off after 66 mins, Spurs drew 0-0 AET and went out on pens.

His next appearance was in December under Mourinho - the last 5 mins of a PL game at home to Burnley, with Spurs already 5-0 up .

He then was brought on in the 90th minute in March this year, at home to Wolves in the PL, with Spurs (unsuccessfully) chasing a 3-2 deficit. He may have touched the ball though if he did, I didn't see it.

Four days later he came on in extra time in an FA Cup tie at home to Norwich, with the score level at 1-1. There were no further goals, Spurs went out on pens.

Er that's it.

Parrott is done at this level. I blame the Kinahan's.

That's hardly "turning against him" by their standards.

Turning aganst a player at Millwall usually involves missiles, if they're in a good mood they allow you to evacuate your granny before they petrol bomb your house.

MOTM performance by Parrott. Shaun Williams and Jimmy Dunne the second and third best players on the pitch.

I know.

Must be pretty sh*t pulling in £250k(?) a year to play in the Championship and gaining 42 international caps, incl the 2016 Euro Finals, along the way.

Dunno why he bothers really.

Er, I'm a Spurs fan. I'd love it if he turned out to be eg the next Robbie Keane. Clap

We wouldn't miss Harry Kane quite so much when he's sold by Levy to PSG for £200m. Cry

Injured again according to Gary Rowett. Admits he should've been taken off but kept him on against his better judgement. He hopes it's not too serious.

Assume it's the same quad injury?
Seems a big oversight by the MGMT team...he looked out of it from the start.
Don't they do a pre-match fitness check?

That'll likely set him back another few weeks.

I think he'll be a reasonable player in time but won't make it with a big club.

Lacks killer pace.

Having a quick mind and eye for goal is more important.

He is still very young so has plenty of time to improve his game.

Harry Kane is hardly known for killer pace and it hasn't held him back much

No, but Kane is one of the best strikers of a football around. Having searing pace certainly isn't a prerequisite to being a top level striker, but it is a trait that the majority of them possess.

If you look at the EPL top scorers of all time, how many were known for their killer pace -

Top 15:

Shearer
Rooney
Cole
Aguero
Lampard
Henry -  YES
Fowler
Defoe
Owen - YES
Ferdinand
Sherringham
Kane
RVP
JFH
Roberto Keane

Some had great pace over short distances: Aguero, Fowler etc

But Shearer, Rooney, Teddy, Robbie Big Les etc were not super fast.
